Because we don't want to let you down, we have looked at ways, together with fellow organizers, to offer you something extra this summer. Limburg solidarity at its best!

What does this mean for you? Do you have a ticket for Forever 2026? Then you have something extra in your hands this summer. In collaboration with the participating events, additional opportunities have been made available for our visitors to attend the following festivals this summer:

How does it work? You can get a regular ticket for all participating festivals once per event, like this:

- Get your Forever 2026 ticket. 
- Locate the unique barcode (you can find this under the barcode or QR code on your ticket); it consists of 13 digits.
- Go to the ticket shop of the event you wish to attend.
- Enter your unique Forever barcode as a 'promotion code' or 'discount code' to receive your ticket(s). Please note: The barcode can be used only once per event. Availability may vary per festival; while supplies last!

This offer is a voluntary extra gesture from our partners and the foundation. It expressly does not constitute a replacement of, or offsetting against, the original ticket fees. The formal settlement between the ticket holders and the bankrupt estate of the previous producer is completely separate from this initiative.

Although there is currently no definitive clarity regarding 2027, discussions with potential new operators are proceeding positively, and there is good hope that the concept can return in a strong manner.

Which Forever tickets are included? This promotion applies to all types of admission tickets (whether you purchased an Early Bird, Regular, or VIP ticket). Tickets for additional services such as Parking and Lockers are excluded from this promotion.

We understand that the news regarding the 2026 edition raises many questions. This overview provides the most current information regarding the situation, your tickets, and plans for the future. We advise you to review this page first, as the most up-to-date information will be shared here.

What does this mean in practice?

The 2026 edition cannot take place due to organizational and business circumstances involving the party responsible for the execution of the event. In recent months, intensive efforts were made to determine if the event could still proceed under a new operator. Discussions were held with multiple parties to this end.

These discussions revealed that the available preparation time was too limited. Combined with current developments in the festival industry; such as changing consumer behavior, pressure on ticket sales, and rising costs—potential partners indicated that it was not responsible or viable to take over the 2026 edition under these circumstances.

As a result, the 2026 edition will not take place.

  • Who organizes Forever Festival? Forever Festival is organized by an external operator. Stichting Festival Xperience is the brand owner and licensor of the concept and is not the organizer or the executing party of the event.

  • Who is responsible for the cancellation? The execution and organization of the event lie with the operator (producer). The brand owner does not play a role as an organizer or executing party.

  • Why is this message only being released now? Until very recently, we were actively exploring whether the event could still take place via a new operator. It was only when it became clear that this was not feasible within the available time and circumstances that the decision was made to cancel the 2026 edition.

  • Was this known for a long time? No. Throughout the recent period, we worked continuously on solutions to make the 2026 edition possible.

  • Is this due to disappointing ticket sales? No. The decision is based on a combination of factors, including the organizational situation, the limited preparation time, and current market conditions.

Background

  • What happened to the previous organizer? The party responsible for the execution of previous editions of Forever Festival, WeCreate Group B.V., was recently declared bankrupt. This party had already begun preparations for the 2026 edition, including the launch of ticket sales, production planning, and organizational work. Due to their insolvency, this process could not be continued. Subsequent attempts to have a new operator take over the event proved unfeasible due to limited time and market conditions. The brand owner is independent of this company and acts solely as brand owner and licensor.

  • Was the 2026 edition already in preparation? Yes. The party (organizer) responsible for the execution of the event already had the 2026 edition in preparation. Due to the situation that arose with that party, the process could not be sustained.

Tickets

  • What happens to my ticket? We understand that your ticket is valuable and that you want clarity. At this moment, we are carefully reviewing the further handling of tickets. This includes looking into potential solutions regarding the future of Forever Festival. As soon as there is more clarity, it will be communicated via the official Forever Festival channels.

  • Will I get my money back? Ticket revenues were received by the organizing party (the operator). Any potential refund falls under the settlement/liquidation of that party. Simultaneously, we are exploring ways to appropriately accommodate existing ticket holders in the context of Forever Festival’s future. We realize this is a vital question and ask for your understanding that we can only communicate on this once there is full legal and operational clarity.

  • Is my ticket valid for 2027? It is currently not yet clear what form a potential arrangement for existing tickets will take. This depends on the further development of a future edition and agreements with a new operator. Providing a perspective for existing ticket holders is a major priority.

  • Why is there no immediate clarity regarding tickets? It is essential that the settlement process is handled carefully and is legally sound. Therefore, we can only communicate once all details are finalized.

  • When can I expect more information? As soon as concrete information is available, it will be shared immediately via the official Forever Festival channels.

  • Where can I go with questions about my ticket? Once there is clarity regarding the settlement, we will also communicate where visitors can go with specific questions.

  • Why isn’t a solution provided immediately? It is important that any subsequent steps are worked out carefully and correctly from a legal standpoint. We will communicate as soon as full clarity is achieved.

Organization

The structure of Forever Festival is based on a separation between brand ownership and execution. The concept and associated brand rights are managed by the brand owner, while the full execution and operation of events are handled by executing parties (licensees).

  • Why doesn’t the Foundation organize the festival itself? The structure is specifically designed so that the execution of events is always handled by an external operator responsible for production and financial management.

  • Why is there no direct solution for the operator's obligations? The brand owner has no role in the execution or financial handling of the events. The organization and all associated obligations lie entirely with the event operator.

  • Was an attempt made to find a solution? Yes. Intensive work was carried out recently to ensure the continuity of the event by holding talks with several potential new operators.

  • Why couldn’t another party take over the event? Due to the limited preparation time and current market conditions (such as rising costs and pressure on ticket sales), potential partners indicated that taking over the 2026 event was not responsible.

  • What do you mean by "market conditions"?

    The festival industry is currently facing several challenges, including:

    • Changing consumer behavior

    • Pressure on ticket sales

    • Rising costs for production and organization These factors make it more complex for organizers to realize events responsibly, especially with limited preparation time.

  • Why wasn’t it decided to proceed with an adjusted or smaller edition? Organizing an event like Forever Festival requires meticulous preparation, both organizationally and financially. Given the circumstances, it was concluded that proceeding with the 2026 edition, including a smaller or adjusted version, was not responsible. This would still require sufficient preparation time, organizational capacity, and a viable financial framework. Additionally, Forever Festival stands for a specific level of quality and experience. Making excessive concessions would undermine the quality visitors expect.

Future

  • Will Forever Festival return? Yes. We are working on a future-proof continuation of Forever Festival.

  • When will the festival return? The focus is on a potential return from 2027 onwards. More clarity can only be provided once agreements with a new operator have been finalized.

  • Is there a new organizer yet? Discussions are ongoing with various parties. At this moment, no final agreement has been signed.
